Russell & Mamie Bell

Dr. Bell has been a part of Pastor Steve Ware’s life almost 40 years. As a young convert Dr. Ware was encouraged by Dr. Bell’s preaching and testimony. When Dr. Steve Ware began his first Church in eastern North Carolina it was Calvary Baptist Church and Pastor Russell Bell that sent monthly support to help with the expenses. When Dr. Bob Ware asked Steve Ware to come to Orlando in 1081 it was Dr. Russell Bell and Calvary Baptist Church that encouraged Steve Ware and prayed for direction in his life. When Dr. Bob Ware resigned from Tabernacle Baptist Church of Orlando, Dr. Steve Ware was in a meeting in Henderson North Carolina and word reached him. So it was only the natural thing to do for Tabernacle Baptist Church to support Dr. Russell and Mamie Bell when they stepped out by faith from the Pastorate to full time Evangelism, Pulpit Supply and Missionary relief work.

After much prayer, in 2001, Dr. Bell surrendered to be the blessing and encouragement that he is today as he continues to travel preaching the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.
